Summer Institute for Teens
The Nasher Sculpture Center is pleased to announce the 2010 Nasher Summer Institute for Teens. This intensive, week-long program, designed for students interested in pursuing careers in museums and the visual arts, includes behind-the-scenes museum experiences, face-to-face sessions with practicing artists and art world professionals, and hands-on studio projects in a variety of media.

Ideal applicants will be high school students who have completed grades 9, 10, 11, or 12, and who have a strong, demonstrated interest in studio art or art history. Up to 30 students will be accepted. Students must be nominated by teachers, and finalists will be selected by Nasher staff.

Tuition for accepted participants is free of charge, and includes art supplies, meals, and a
transportation stipend.
The Nasher Summer Institute for Teens will be held Monday, June 21 through Friday, June 25, 2010 from 10 am – 4 pm.
